Update II: Cops now say a 17-year-old boy was the one who handcuffed and masked Mazzola, though it was a consensual arrangement, of course. The teen then left and discovered Mazzola dead the next day. Authorities are still investigating whether anyone else came to the house that night.l (Morning Journal)


Update: Yeah, the coroner now is officially saying Mazzola died from an “accident during sexual role play.” He had a sex toy in his mouth. Add that to the list of ways we don’t want to go. (Cleveland.com)

  3. Hmmm, handcuffed to the bed, an object stuffed in his mouth and its a possible suicide or accident? Please…explain that one.

    Lets see, he stuffs an object in his mouth, puts on a mask, then places chains on his body, then handcuffs himself to the bed while leaving the keys elsewhere in the bedroom. Oh, ok, I can now understand the possibility of it being a suicide. Now for it to be an accident that means there was most likely another person there seeing the guy choking. Oh, ok, it could have been an accident.

    What are these cops? The Keystone type? Saying “the bear did it, then returned to his cage” is just as plausable.

  4. Watch the vidoes of who was at his home that night. He did have a boyfriend at one time that he spent all his money on etc.

  7. i use to work with Sam Mazzola. He was a huge piece of crap. Screwing people out of money all the time. Full of lies. I believe in Karma and am so happy to see it finally come back his way. Oh, by the way… he still owes me a grand.
