This week, Sam Allard’s feature looks at the Cleveland Metroparks fresh off a levy victory, flush with more cash than ever, holding six new lakefront parks (including historic Euclid Beach), and led by a CEO who has a vision… and a propensity to rub some the wrong way.

The park system seems to fly under the radar, and it likes it that way. But there’s a lot going on here, including what they plan on doing with Euclid Beach (Whiskey Island east?), how employees feel about leadership, what those leaders are making salary-wise, and a quaint mobile home that has been a thorn in the Metroparks side for years.

Host Craig Lyndall chats with Sam Allard about all that and more. Listen below.
