Infinity Mirrors, which has been installed in museums across the country, makes its way to the Cleveland Museum of Art, where it will remain from July 7 to Sept. 30. Tickets for CMA Members are currently available, while reservations for the general public begin Monday.
If you’re planning on grabbing a couple tickets on Monday, there a few details to keep in mind.
-Tickets will only be sold online and over the phone starting at 9 a.m. until they’re sold out. Don’t show up to the museum in person or you might miss your chance.
-There’s a limit of four tickets per customer. They are $30 for adults and $15 for children ages 6-17.
-Tickets are timed, meaning they will only ensure your entry into the exhibit at a specific date and time, so have your Google Calendar open to avoid any scheduling conflicts.
-All is not lost if you miss out on Monday’s ticket drop, there will be a limited number of tickets available weekly throughout the exhibit’s run.
The exhibit has become something of a sensation in the modern art world thanks to the immersive nature of Kusama’s work, making the mirrorscapes particularly ubiquitous on Instagram. Because of its popularity, visitors are limited to 20-30 seconds per room, calling for paparazzi-like precision to capture the perfect #infinityroom selfie.
