“Twist will be kicking off Pride week with a queer-themed art show,” says Diaz. “The point of the show is to promote and support LGBT arts within the Cleveland community. The artists were chosen from previous solo pop-up art shows that were held at Twist Social, with the introduction of local artist Scott Marous. Their artworks share inspirations and influences visualized in drawings, paintings, prints and three-dimensional works of queer culture.”
The exhibition features new and recent work by Joey Catanzarite, Benji Diaz, Anna Tararova and Scott Marous. All work is for sale, and the bar will feature drink specials and electronic music throughout the evening. Work will be sold directly off the wall at this one night only event.
Pride in the CLE takes place on Saturday, Aug. 13. The march will begin at the Superior Viaduct at noon, and cross the Detroit-Superior Bridge into Downtown, concluding at Public Square, where a festival will be held from 1 to 6 p.m.

Congrats to Cleveland for saving your Pride celebration. I hope next year that you all remember what Todd Saporito did to Clevelands gay community by canceling the event. Also remember when choosing to spend your dollars…. that those spent at Flex in Cleveland supports the club he is CEO of!
Think twice before supporting the Flex bath house in Cleveland. The CEO there is the same guy that pulled the last minute cancellation of Clevelands Pride Event. Spend your money at a gay business that actually supports our community
