Where I Hang: Paulius Nasvytis, Owner of the Velvet Tango Room

When he's not hanging around the Velvet Tango Room, the quintessential craft cocktail bar he created over 17 years ago, VTR's master of ceremonies Paulius Navytis stays close to home.

"I have lived in the Warehouse District for ten years now," he says. "I love living downtown. It has really blossomed into a real neighborhood."

"The Greenhouse Tavern is one of my favorites. Chef Jonathan Sawyer has a passion for food that really shows," he says. And when it comes to sushi, Nasvytis says nobody does it like Ginko. "There are no comparisons anywhere" he says.

The West Side Market's famed Frank's Bratwurst also makes the short list. "I can eat their brats for breakfast, lunch and dinner — all on the same day."

When he does leave downtown, Americano in Bratenahl is his choice. "Vytauras Sasnauskas is one of Cleveland's most unknown and truly passionate and talented chefs." And for those other times when a trip out of downtown is not in order and he simply wants to walk somewhere for a bite and a drink, it's usually to the Map Room. "The beer is always cold, they make a legit pizza and they have sauerkraut balls, which should be a staple in Cleveland bars and restaurants," he says.
