Woman Responds "Gobble Gobble Turkey" When Officer Asks How Much She's Had to Drink

There are good and bad ways to respond to a cop who's suddenly at your window asking you the kind of questions officers ask when they suspect that you're driving under the influence. There's "I prefer to not answer any questions and I politely refuse to perform any tests," which is our recommended route. There's "I only had two beers, I swear!" which is what most folks go with.

And then there's this lady, who was pulled over at 4 a.m. on Nov. 29. Thanksgiving magic still bustling in her brain, she gave a holiday-tinged answer to the North Ridgeville police officer who pulled her over. From the friendly local police blotters:

Drunken driving, Chestnut Ridge Road: On Nov. 29, police witnessed a woman driving erratically. As the officer followed the car, the tire came off the rim and she continued driving, leaving gouge marks in the road. Police stopped the driver, who showed signs of impairment. When asked how much she had to drink, the suspect responded: "Gobble, gobble, turkey." The North Olmsted woman was arrested on drunken driving charges and the car towed.
