It turns out that Ohio astronaut/senator extraordinaire John Glenn had a lot of stuff. Thousands of his household treasures are now available to buy at a special estate sale being held through the weekend at the late-hero's Washington-area home.

Glenn passed away in 2016, leaving behind his wife Annie who still lives in Ohio, and his kids have worked tirelessly to divide up his things. Some items are at the John & Annie Glenn Museum while others are staying in the family. Some things are being parted with, however.

Some of the best items on the estate sale list include this awesome plate.
