Hatch, who says he comes “from the poor people,” resents Brown’s “spouting off” about how the tax bill actually benefits the rich, despite Republican slogans to the contrary.
“I like you personally very much,” Hatch tells Brown, “but I’m tellin’ ya. This bullcrap that you guys throw out here really gets old after awhile.”
Brown contends that the Republican selling points of the tax bill — that it will raise wages by cutting the corporate tax rate, among other things — just aren’t true.
Hatch says that Brown and the Democrats’ contention that the tax bill is really for the rich is equally false, or at least disingenuous.
(Brown references CHIP in his remarks. That’s the Children’s Health Insurance Program that Congress let expire last month.)

I think Hatch put Brown in perspective,….and reminds all of us Buckeyes that Brown is an elected leader the shovels MUCH BULLCRAP!
What a trash headline! Maybe try to stray away from bias.
Um, pretty sure Brown put the tax plan in perspective…pay for corporate tax breaks while removing exemptions for the disabled and the elderly. Bullcrap indeed
Um, pretty sure Bullcr@p,…that the Democrat savior said for 8 years said that millionaires weren’t paying their share. Remember the top 1% Bullcrap? In the new plan, everyone gets a break but millionaires, which is now what Brown is throwing a fit about, quite a contradiction than the Obama years. There just has to be some complaint by Dems. It was right for Hatch to call Brown out to the floor. Hatch bent Brown over his knee and spanked him in front of everyone,…and Brown took it. This is what Dems asked for for 8 years,…this is a good bipartisan arrangement. This headline is Bullcrap and the story was not well sourced or analyzed by Sam Allard before creating such a negatively biased opinion. Fake news is a trend though,……not sure if it would pay bills though,……oh that’s right Trump just made it easier for us middle-classer’s to pay bills. Don’t even tell me your a suffering millionaire, if so get off the posting and put someone to work!
The bill would repeal the individual Alternative Minimum Tax which primarily affects households with incomes from $200,000 to $1 million and would maintain preferential rates for investment income. It would also repeal the estate tax after six years, in the meantime doubling the amount of inherited wealth that is exempt from the tax to $11 million from $5.5 million.
The top rate would be the same as it is now, except the income level at which it would apply would increase to $1 million for married couples from $480,050 under the current law
Brown is a liar playing to the camera. Hes a fool voted in by fools. Keep supporting him if you want to stay in the peasant class. Between him and fudge, youll have no future whatsoever.
Allard. Youre a moron and a loser.
Didn’t you know?
Listen to him, its obvious. Vote him away or whatever you must do.
The bill does a way with exemptions that help the middle class! A guy who is a chicken farmer is going to get his corporate tax reduced so he can pay off his loans sooner so he can expand sooner. He wins because he can expand and make more money. Sure if he expands, he hires more workers, but some people dont agree with this method of increasing jobs! Less revenues in taxes increases the debt, takes longer to actually get more people to work, and has to be paid for by sick kids, elderly and children with disabilities. I know what side Im on! Thanks Sherrod Brown!
