Italian metal outfit Lacuna Coil roared into the Globe Iron on Friday night, headlining a triple bill of bands that heralded the warmer Spring-like weather with some hot licks and Italian-accented vocals.

Openers Escape The Fate, based out of Las Vegas, warmed up the crowd with a forty-minute set of metalcore/emo tunes that set the stage for the headliners.

Indie duo Vows started off the night with a mellow, Julie Cruz-inspired set of ethereal wispiness, a sharp counterpoint to the bands that followed.
