Where applicable, clicking the image takes you to the shop where you can purchase these fine wares. I won’t be buying any. Not because some of these aren’t funny or well-designed or they don’t capture the mood of the moment in the Forest City, it’s just not me. It could be for you though, so here’s some of the best from the summer catalog of LeBron Hate Merch.

  1. How about a crown and throne with the text:

“Real kings don’t abandon their home court”

  2. Who cares? He dont owe antything to anyone. He created his own image and cleveland does not own him or his image. I’m glad that he is gone if you cant support a human being for making a decision that will benefit his life and career. Will you stay for a company that does not provide you with the tools to be sucessful and set you up for failure. No, you either stay because you dont have a choose and dont want to loose income but if something else more promising comes about you will leave.

  3. haas you are part of exactly what is wrong with this whole situation, who cares? You do enough to plant your little nose pickers down on mommy and daddy’s computer. If an athlete wants to leave a team for personal gain. fanatics(fans) will take issue with you every single time. If the self proclaimed king of basketball goes on television for 1 hour and basically kicks the people in the teeth who have supported him to almost no fault for his basketball life so far from his home town after he just failed them in the playoffs again, after getting their hopes up, again, and basically quitting on your squad because everyone saw what I did:you saw Lefraud try to show he had no help instead of trying to destroy the enemy(respect to all veterans but like Russell,MJ,Larry,&Magic would have done). If you want to go to Miami and play with your buds Lefraud: go! But don’t you think for a second you have made your life any easier. Even if you win a championship or two you had to go to someone else’s team to get it doneaneveryone will say you should have won. You see hass you probably have no idea what it means to be a true fan, I’m sure you come and go with the fair winds blowing you to whoever makes headlines it is your right to do that but don’t post your little disrespectful rant. People who are much bigger fans than you are going to die this year, praying their team wins a title. What would mean more in the end 1-2-3(very doubtful) rings in Miami or one big sucker on your ring finger from your home town because you, not your buddy’s, brought a championshipm to a town that is so starved and so deserving of one. I’ve been a Philadelphia fan my whole life and was a little too young to remember the winning of the 70’s and early 80’s,and I’ve seen hundreds of different championships(NFL,MLB,NBA,NHL,Golf,Soccer,Tennis) and got excited over many of them but until the Phillies won that World Series in 2008, you probably don’t know what pure ectstacy feels like: their are very, very few feelings in life that equal the pure enjoyment of watching your home town squad(not the guy who was born in Seattle who is a Yankee fan=fraud) win a championship: A parade, a ring, a banner, and enough memories to take to your grave. As I posted before: many people will die never seeing their squad win one or another title. But as you so eloquently put it: Who cares?

  4. The KING that keeps giving!!! (Lebron James) Take a deep breath Cleveland Fans,Owner & Buisnesses who all made Dreams & money from The Lebron machine. Be thankful and appreciative for the 7 long years that gave you hope for a NBA Title and those that made financial gains(off Lebron)! The King now gives Miami Fans, Owners & Buisnesses the same Dreams as Cleveland Had. Take full advantage Heat Fans because you know the owners and buisnesses will. ENJOY!!!

  5. hey phillysportsfan88, “the guy who was born in Seattle who is a Yankee fan=fraud”, maybe you should take your own advice: Who cares? Fans can root for whatever team they want to no matter where they are from

  6. The only thing LeBron did that was wrong was the way he told Cleveland (ownership and fans) that he was leaving. He could have done it in a more classy and tasteful manner. But make no mistake about it if you Cleveland fans want someone to blame you need to point the finger at Gilbert the owner. Where was all that passion that was in his idiotic letter 2 years ago when he knew it was a real possibility that Lebron could leave if he didn’t pull the strings on getting a few more REAL players. He didn’t do it he was riding on Lebron’s coat tails praying that he could deliver a championship by himself. History shows that most championships in the major team sports are indeed bought. Very few teams have ever won it all from building strictly trough a draft and minor leagues. Most of them need to add 1, 2, or even 3 players through free agency or trades to put the finishing touches on a championship run. So, all of you bitter Cleveland fans need to start questioning the owners of your teams about what they are doing to bring your city a championship and get off any player who is smart enough to get of Cleveland when they are FREE agent to better their chances of actually winning!

  7. Gilbert lost his prize winning “buck” that brought in many crops and paydays! If he could’ve, he’d have cut off Toby’s foot too! Pathetic rich guy that ripped off his fans raking in all those ticket sales & profiting but not using the money to create a dominant team! There’s your blame. And now crying like a bi$@# that has just been cheated on?! Give me a f’n break!!! $$$hungry owner okay, but not a player that’s doing ALL THE WORK?! Can you say…Clueless in Cleveland?! God Speed, LeBron! Looks like you got out in just a nick of time!

  8. ms2flycy is the dumbest person ever. Its not Lebron leaving that people are mad about, its the way he did it. Always have to play the race card when you dont have anything intelligent to say.

  9. Sports is a business and if the owner didn’t take advantage of what he had then suffer the consequences. The City, Owner and many more made a ton of cash off of the king. His contract was up and he is free to go where ever he wants just like we do when jobs don’t give us what we need. Suck it up and get over it Cleveland, surely you can’t be that ignorant or maybe you can to think one person could win it all for you. he came out every night and played his heart out for you. I bet now he’s glad he left Cleveland because now he really knows how they felt about him. Good Luck in Miami LeBron.

  10. Had nothing to do with him leaving it’s the way he did it. Bosh did it and hummm you don’t see any backlash there do you, NOPE because he did it like a human being, not like some one who is smelling himself. It’s the way he did it, like he is the second coming of christ.

  11. So many people have no idea of how business works. Several have commented that Gilbert, Cleveland, local business owners, etc. “made money off” LeBron, as though that money was made at LeBron’s expense or came out of his pocket. Nothing could be further from the truth. LeBron was paid the maximum amount he could be paid under the CBA on every contract he signed with the Cavs. Of course LeBron added tremendous value to the team and the city, but he was paid fairly for it. You could argue that he outperformed his contract, but it wasn’t Dan Gilbert who decided how much LeBron could be paid.

And to say the Gilbert pocketed all the money he made from LeBron is just ignorant. He paid salaries well over the cap to try to win a championship. You can fault Gilbert for hiring Danny Ferry as GM who couldn’t get the right players to complement LeBron, but you can’t argue he wasn’t willing to pay for players. You could easily argue (some have) that LeBron made it harder by only signing a three year deal, not giving Ferry the flexibility to make longer term decisions. Look at what Miami did: they tanked two season to get rid of all of their high priced players except Wade just to be able to get 2 max free agents. Gilbert never made LeBron endure that kind of situation.

LeBron leaving is not the issue. Yes, he was supposed to be the hometown hero who would bring us a championship, who would stay here and win at home instead of leaving as so many before him did. Ultimately he decided he had a better chance to win elsewhere and he left, as was his right. Even if he left because he didn’t want to be here, or because he wanted to party on South Beach, or just to play with his friends, all of those reasons are his right also. He was a free agent, and he acted accordingly.

It was the classless way he did so that angers most of us. Calling it “The Decision”, just like “The Shot” and “The Drive” and “The Fumble.” LeBron grew up here: he knows better. He knows what that kind of wording means to us. That narcissistic ESPN special is something Magic, Kareem, Michael, Bird, Dr. J, Kobe, Shaq, etc. would never have done. LeBron wants to be considered in the same class of all of those great players, but he isn’t carrying himself the way they did.

LeBron had two choices: stay and be the man, or go and be part of a trio. He took the easy out. That’s not what being the man is all about. And if you think Cleveland fans are being hard on him, you should read what they’re saying in NYC.

  12. The “Chosen 1” Reality Check

Hey Dan, Stop the presses! Don’t dump the “Chosen 1” memorabilia, but save it, get creative and have some fun along the way.

Let’s turn the “Chosen 1’s” shirts and jersies into Terrible Towels à la Steelers. Hold a creative decoration contest with all the old stuff. Either give it away or sell it at cost. The winners will have their creations displayed in the lobby of the Q.

When the HEAT roll into town, the winners get seats behind both baskets and show off their works of art to ESPN and TNT cameras at every Heat foul shot. And all the while, the rest of the fans wave their terrible towels. Nothing gross, but suble, incisive, mocking humor.

Looks like there are 30 other NBA cities that think the same way, so it should pick up steam rather easily.

Make such a mockery of “The Chosen 1”, that he will never again dare to bare his shoulders in public.

A few ideas to get the ball rolling (if someone can put the design to paper all the better):

    1) The “Chosen 1” jersey – on the back at shoulder level

    Chosen 1X (X = crossed out)
    ………….2X “
    ………….3X “
    ………….4X “
    ………….5X “
“Hey Maverick, How many choices we got left?”

    2) Jersey n°2
God smiling down from above on the “Chosen 1”
“Well it looks like that proto-type still has a few bugs in it”

    3) Jersey n°3
    Again God looking down
“Well, that wasn’t such a good choice after all. Can you make it 2 out of 3”

    4) “Chosen 1” bobble head n°1
“Yeah Maverick, Just shake your head like this”

    5) “Chosen 1” bobble head n°2
“Don’t let that Ego get to your head. Oups, just do as I say, not as I do”

    6) Jersey n°4
A sketch of the “Chosen 1’s” castle in Bath
Title above: “The Chosen Diva’s” Burial Grounds
Sign posted on the lawn: “Inflated egos admitted free of charge”

After all, Memphis only has the tomb of the “King”. N.E. Ohio has the Rock’n Roll museum AND his successor’s, the “King n°2”, Burial Grounds

Just think about it. The “Chosen 1’s” castle has become a giant albatross. He can’t live in it and he can’t sell it. And all the while, he’s paying exorbitant property taxes and maintenance fees.

    7) Jersey n°5
Again, The “Chosen 1’s” castle with a “For Sale” sign on the lawn
In the foreground a sketch of Maverick Carter with the caption
“Would you trust this man to sell you a used Albatross?”

Deck the roads of Bath with signs of joy, merriment and mockery! Just to remind all “Chosen 1” tourists that He will forever live in our hearts 😉

The 3 Amigos Dragon Hunting Primer

So how do you slay a 3 headed Amigo? Just run it to death until it drops from exhaustion.
Run, run, run… Fast break, fast break, fast break,

As it stands, the complimentary casting in Miami will be made up of older veterans. They won’t even need Mike Brown to be much slower than this years Cav’s roster. So … Make them run hard 48 minutes a game, 82 games a year and see how they make it across the “Finish Line”

Make it the most creative fast break in NBA history. Criss-cross in front of the basket. Pass back to the trailer while ESPN shows replays of the “Chosen 1” fly swatting. Kick out to the wing for an Alley oop to the 4th man down. Make it so that they never know which side it will come from. Take all the freebees you can get before the defense sets. The “3 Amigos Dragon Slaying Fast Break” comes in 28 flavors. Once the rest of the league figures it out, the 3 amigos will be forever looking up to the out of reach magical ring in the sky.

    Hey Byron, yuh listenin’!

    8) Jersey n°6
The 3 Amigos bent over, hands on knees, sucking air… JJ dunking in the back ground

    9) Jersey n°7
The 3 Amigos’ heads mounted on wooden plates, hanging over the fire place (It’s late, so you’ll have to help me with the caption for this one)

    10) Jersey n°8
I can imagine doing something with the 3 Gollums chasing the ever-illusive Ring

    11) Jersey n°9
A sign post in the middle of the desert, under a blazing sun (conviently named “HEAT”)
The 3 Amigos shriveling up at the base of the sign post

The NBA All-Star Diva Reality Check
    DIVA pruning 101

OK gang, this is where we actually get our say. Can’t afford to let this one get away, too.

Can you see David Stern trying to explain on ESPN how someone that finished 3rd, 4th or better yet 5th in the voting, was named to the backup All-Star team over the players that finished ahead of them?

Dear David, What message are you trying to send to the youth of America. That character doesn’t count as long as you can take it to the rim? That the NBA is a protective cocoon that shields young Divas from the realities of main street. As long as Papa David looks over you, you will never have to grow up!

Imagine David Stern having to call in “The Maverick Carter Professional Public Relations and Collateral Damage Repair Service” to get things back on track. Oups, didn’t we try that already. 2 out of 3 anybody!

The NBA – where over-inflated egos come crashing back to reality (No safety Nets Allowed)

We’ll get this going once the season starts, but let’s take advantage of all the interest at present to lay the ground work. We’ll need a correspondant in each city and a list of all blogs, team/fan/sports sites, …. where we can post messages at the appropriate time.

The Cav’s have leads to the Chinese market and the Nets to the one in Russia. Don’t you think that “Chosen 1’s” roasted ego wouldn’t taste great with these exotic sauces?

Anyone got a personal web site where we can organize this?

So Mr. Stern, you say that there was behind the scenes plotting? Well, that just makes it 1-1 at half time. You set the rules, we just follow the example.

So unleash the imaginations and let’s roll up the sleeves and get to work. Post your ideas, artwork, songs, jokes …. here.

Get creative and stay thirsty, my friends.

  13. Lebron showed no class by leaving Cleveland in the way he did. It was ridiculous to make such a show of it and he virtually slapped the Cleveland fans in the face. It was disrespectful and childish and very unprofessional. If you want to change teams, then make the change as it is usually done. What he did was take a big chance at some bad karma. I don’t blame the coach or the fans for being angry. He behaved like an idiot, and the Heat just took advantage of it.

  14. EVERYBODY JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP HE IS A GROWN ASS MAN AND UM PRETTY SURE HE DID WHAT THE FUCK HE WANTED TO DO!!!…..SO GET OFF HIS NUTS && HAVE A NICE DAY!!!!!!! 🙂

  15. Hey LeBron Left to win some titles. If you guys were ever real LeBron James fans you would encourage him to go and win titles. That’s why he left, to win titles not because he hates Cleveland. LeBron is a grown man and I think he can make his own decisions. This is very sad that you Cleveland fans are doing anti- LeBron T-shirts, Trash Talking him, and burning his jerseys HEY DO YOU KNOW HE GAVE YOU GUYS 6 OR 7 GOOD YEARS OF GOING DEEP INTO THE PLAYOFFS EVER YEAR. You should thank him for doing that for you. How many playoffs has Cleveland made since LeBron first came to the Cavs.1999-2000-(32-50), 2000-2001-(30-52), 2001-2002-(29-53),2002-2003-(17-65) LeBron gets Drafted= 2003-2004-(35-47), 2004-2005-(42-40), 2005-2006-(50-32)makes Playoffs, 2006-2007-(50-32)goes to the finals, 2007-2008-(45-37), 2008-2009-(67-15)makes playoffs, 2009-2010-(66-16) see what comes around goes around since you Cleveland fans were being very selfish and maybe LeBron did not want fans like that so he decided to leave, hey having fans like you guys Cleveland’s record will be (20-62)next season I don’t know if this actually will happen because the offseason is not over yet but I have seen Cleveland win games with or with LeBron James. I am glad what he did because he will have real fans in Miami. Here is one last thing I want to say YES.THEY.DID.

  16. Cleveland needs to get over The Decision AND THEMSELVES. If the only reason they loved LeBron was bc he might be able to get…I mean, to FINALLY get ….a professional championship banner to that loser town, then they had it all wrong to begin with. They were the selfish ones. You’re a fan of the player because you like the player, not just his promising talent. And you can see the management’s selfish “love” for LeBron by the way they didn’t try to get him any help. What’s this I hear Cleveland fans saying? “Ohhh but we got the big Shaq monster AND that one guy….ummm…Antonio Jamison. No, wait…Antawn Jamison. Yeah. We got them to come help!” But help what? Shaq has been washed up for a few years now, and they should’ve known nothing would come out of him. And what has Jamison done since his North Carolina days? Well? I could play the entire Final Jeopardy theme before any Cleveland fan could come up with a reasonable answer. So yes, sharp investing indeed. Cleveland management just wanted to look proactive while still expecting James to carry everything on his shoulders.
And let’s not forget, there is still a team in Cleveland. Dan Gilbert has single-handedly brought the morale of that team to rock bottom. All he focuses on is LEBRON’S “betrayal” and LEBRON’S “cowardice”….LEBRON LEBRON LEBRON!!! He’s gone, Dan. Try stepping up and encouraging your team. Last call, Cleveland. Time to stop crying and get over it.
If Cleveland cry babies ever were real fans of LeBron James, they would respect him for doing what he has to do to achieve his ultimate potential. After all, it takes some basketball intelligence to win titles. How dumb would he be to turn down the ultimate championship opportunies? Sorry, Cleveland kids, we don’t pay these athletes to compete for the feel-good storyline, and that’s not why they play at the top level.
Play to win. LeBron James is.

  17. Hey assholes, stop hatin lebron. Yea so he left to win a championship, so wat. He’s right for leaving. He stuck around for 7 years tryin to win a championship and it never happened. U shouldnt hate him for leaving, hate cleveland for sucking dick at basketball!
