Collinwood indie music store Music Saves makes an appearance in the new documentary I Need That Record: The Death (or Possible Survival) of the Independent Record Store.

The store and its owners — husband-wife team Kevin Neudecker and Melanie Hershberger — appear alongside musical luminaries like Fugazi/MinorThreat frontman Ian Mackaye, Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore, author Legs McNeil, and social critic Noam Chomsky.

The documentary is now available on DVD. —D.X. Ferris
