Weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Central Time), Cox will broadcast to St. Louis live from the same Cleveland studio that’s the source of his later show. The Sound is also owned by ’MMS parent company Clear Channel. The St. Louis station’s most popular artists include Phoenix, Train, Broken Bells and Muse.
Cox says the show in the other city will be a separate production.
“It's more of an adult alternative station,” the DJ explains. “So it will be a more music-intensive show. Essentially, I'll be cracking wise in between the songs. [The job] had actually been offered to me before I came to Cleveland. They're just getting around to putting their talent lineup together now. “ — D.X. Ferris
