By now you’ve been updated about the arrest of five men who planned to blow up the State Route 82 Bridge. The FBI and U.S. Attorney’s office have released the names of those involved, and if you track the alleged bombers’ online footprints, you see these guys self-identify with the Occupy Movement. (Before you start in, we’ll beat you to the punch — we haven’t been able to confirm the accounts all belong to the individuals charged, but a couple of the pictures released by the FBI are dead ringers for the profile pics, and the profiles we’ve screen-grabbed below are all friends at least in the Facebook sorta way, so keep that all in mind).
Three of the four arrested we found (possibly) on Facebook list OccupyCleveland as their employment. Their profiles are also festooned with other anarchist swag. The bombing was set to occur on May Day.
To recap, three individuals have been arrested and charged with conspiracy and attempted use of explosive material to damage physical property affecting interstate commerce: Brandon Baxter, 20; Douglas Wright, 26; and Anthony Hayne, 35.
On Brandon Baxter’s (alleged) Facebook profile, he lists his political views as “anarcho-communist,” and lists “#OccupyCleveland” as his employment.

I’ve been part of Occupy Cleveland on and off for a few months. I’m here to tell you these people did not, and do not represent OC.
All of us with OC are shocked and saddened by these events. Occupy Cleveland has been, and continues to be committed to creating social change through non-violence and community building.
If you go to the Yahoo NFL draft you’ll see The Wash Redskins drafted a QB at number 2 of the first round: Robert Griffin from Baylor, and there’s a picture of the young man. Go to round 6 pick 33 you’ll see the Jets drafted a tackle: Robert Griffin from Baylor, same picture. If it’s online it must be true.
The OC does not endorse or support violence. These fools are making the rest look bad. Always someone out there ready to destroy a good thing..
Oh, yes. these five men did every thing what other Mohammed and Aslam think to do, explosive substance in hand, willingness to blow up an imporatnt bridge and so on, but still they were men, between 25 and 35 years age; individuals, anarchists and confused persons but NOT TERRORISTS.
Why because they do not look like Muslims, they do not have Muslim names and they do not have any agendas related to their human rights violations, freedom of their land from their occupiers or are fighting with their dictators.
The WAR on terroirsm will never end, unless we change the yard stick of measurement of terrorism and terrorists. Any person of any color or nationality or religion must be treated with the same rules, regulation, name calling and tried and punished with similar intensity as a criminal otherwise we are indirectly breeding the crops of terrorists providing our cool corner. Not only the security agencies should follow these norms but the media also should follow the same yard sticks.

While the group arrested Monday evening by the FBI were associated with Occupy Cleveland they were in no way representing or acting on behalf of Occupy Cleveland or the event that was planned for later today at the GE Lighting building. The May Day Event that was sponsored by Occupy Cleveland, the North Shore AFL-CIO, Cleveland Jobs with Justice, Fight for a Fair Economy and SEIU Local 1 has been cancelled because of the alleged actions of the autonomous group arrested last night. Occupy Cleveland has had affirmed principles of non-violence since its inception on October 6, 2011.
This was an FBI set up. In the future (or present now) the war on terror will be fought against U.S. citizens. OWS and the “fringe right” make great targets for ever expanding government. You need an enemy to seize more power. Apparently Muslims across the ocean aren’t scaring the majority anymore so they will make some new ones right here at home.

The Occupy Cleveland facebook page is a credible source for the movement because many people control the content. This was definitely an FBI setup, they GAVE them the bomb.
Let me tell you, it is CHOICE to see the OWS movement getting some of it’s own medicine. When I went to a Tea Party rally in 2010, I saw NO racist comments, no violent threats, nothing – the next day, though – there were reports in the local newspaper of both of these! So MAYBE – OWS was actually infiltrated, a la Breitbart? Oh, wait – doubt it – these buffoons look way too stupid.
Just to add one more thing: I DO believe our Govt. is overstepping it’s bounds, I DO believe that we are headed straight into a Fascist Tyranny – but capitalism – TRUE capitalism, which we not longer have – is not to blame. Yea, these guys were that stupid….they were going to throw tacks out of their getaway car if they were being chased. But think if they HAD gotten real explosives, they REALLY tried to set them off, to REALLY blow up a bridge, to REALLY kill people. They ARE idiots, but very DANGEROUS idiots. Hey Occupy–get jobs and do something beneficial for society instead of whining and camping out. At first glance, there appears to be a legitimate problem of PROVOCATEURISM with this case.
Anyone with half a brain would know from history the government will infiltrate to divide and break down. This is just another happy outcome that may not have been foreseen but certainly exploited…
