Cosm, an immersive sports and entertainment venue, has announced that Cleveland will become home to location number five in its chain. Currently, Cosm has venues in Los Angeles and Dallas, and is building additional sites in Atlanta and Detroit.

In a joint statement from Cosm, Bedrock and Rock Entertainment Group, the players announced that the facility will anchor Bedrock’s new mixed-use Rock Block development in downtown Cleveland at the intersection of East 4th Street, Prospect Avenue and Huron Road.

Cosm uses “Shared Reality” technology and wraparound displays to transport guests into real-time sporting events, concerts and other live-action entertainment. The experiences are augmented with food and beverage options.

“Cleveland has long been recognized as a premier entertainment and sport town with one of the most dedicated fan bases in the country, making it the ideal location for Cosm,” Nic Barlage, CEO of Rock Entertainment Group, said in a statement. “This groundbreaking, innovative technology represents the future of live sports and attractions—and Rock Block, next to Rocket Arena, will be the go-to destination for visitors from the region and beyond to experience it.”

In addition to live college and professional football, basketball, hockey, soccer, tennis, golf, baseball and UFC, the venue will offer experiential cinema, immersive art experiences and Cirque du Soleil shows.

The Cleveland structure will feature a 12K+ LED dome with hi-resolution wall-to-wall LED display.

“This is a major milestone for our downtown Gateway District, and the arrival of Cosm is a testament to our community’s spirit and resilience,” Cleveland Mayor Justin M. Bibb stated. “This incredible venue will enhance our city’s reputation as a hub for sports and entertainment, drawing visitors from near and far to experience a whole new level of immersive entertainment. With its engaging technology and diverse programming, Cosm will not only elevate the visitor experience but also strengthen our local economy and community connections. We are proud to partner with Bedrock on this transformative project that reflects the vibrancy and passion of Cleveland.”

Cosm Cleveland is slated to open in the first half of 2027.
