The airwaves are filled with debate this morning about LeBron’s apology to Cleveland after the Miami Heat dispatched the Celtics last night to move on to the Eastern Conference Finals. Mike and Mike covered it, as did local sports talk WKNR, and of course, the Twitterverse is brimming with opinion.
“I couldn’t do it by myself against that team,” James said. “I apologize for the way it happened, but I knew this opportunity was once in a lifetime.”
Our take: We’re tired of the conversation, not because we’ve forgiven LeBron or moved on, but because anyone who doesn’t understand how true Cleveland sports fans’ lasting and burning hatred will never waver simply doesn’t understand the Cleveland sports fan and never will.

All of the LeBron haters would embrace him, w/open arms, if he ever returned to the Cavs!
i didn’t appreciate the manner in which he made “The Decision”, but all pro athletes want to win titles in their chosen sports
To Hell with LeBron. I lost all respect for the man and would NOT want him back under any circumstance. What he did all around is pathetic. OOOOHHH, apologize now? After his stupid commercial, after his lack of interest the last time we were in the playoffs, after waiting until all the good free agents were taken to declare he was leaving? After all the disrespect he showed so many people? I don’t accept the apology.
Kudos to Scott Raab. Cleveland fan born, raised, and eternally devoted.
Game 5 2010 vs Game 5 one year later…see any difference in his play? LeQuit that’s it!
Go Bulls!
