Political ads are always strange, and this one from Dave Yost is no different. With the election just a month away, the airwaves will be bombarded with an interminable cacophony of vague promises and slicked-up attack ads, but none will sound as sweet as this one from the folks at Yost for Auditor. See, he plays guitar. And that’s some generic smooth dad rock. And… and… vote for Yost!

  1. Nothing like Republican dad rock in dad jeans. From Lee Atwater groovin with BB King to Mike Huckabee playin that down home bass, these guys do get down. I’d suppose the ads are meant to show that these union busting, safety net hating conservos are just fun loving, good time guys.
