Smokey Robinson just inducted Little Anthony & the Imperials. “We were on the road together as kids,” he said. “It’s a joy for me to be here, for what I consider to be a long-overdue event.”
He also called them “the bomb.”
Robinson mentioned all of the guys’ names during his induction, which is nice, since I have no idea how many of the Imperials are original guys.
Anthony’s own speech name-dropped a bunch of people (some probably dead) most people never heard of. At least Anthony acknowledged this.
