Earlier this summer, Intro developer Harbor Bay announced that it was bringing in a new hospitality group to oversee all food and beverage at that Ohio City complex. JJJ Hospitality was out and DDP Restaurant Group was in. Minneapolis-based DDP is fronted by chef Daniel del Prado, who manages a portfolio of more than a dozen concepts in and around Minneapolis.
The group’s first move was to replace Jaja executive chef Logan Abbe with Colin Eakins, which they did in July. In the coming weeks, Eakins and del Prado will collaborate on a new menu, which will be unveiled soon.
Today, the hospitality group announced the immediate closure of Le Burger. This weekend, Edda Coffee will also shut down. A representative for DDP stated that staff from both businesses have been offered positions in other Intro projects.
Neither Le Burger nor Edda will reopen. Instead, the spaces will undergo some “light construction and decor changes” before opening this fall as new concepts. Those details will also be shared in the coming weeks.
