WOIO’s Scott Taylor spread the words via Twitter initially – and allegedly – written by Ariel Castro in 2004.
To begin, Castro sums up his mentality at the time as such: “I am a sexual predator. I need help.”
Sources report that the note may also contain suicidal leanings. Though no official comment has been made regarding Castro’s note, it’s become clear that – at least at the time of writing the letter – staunchly refused to accept blame for the crime.
Castro writes “They are here against their will because they made a mistake of getting in a car with a total stranger.”
