LeBron mania has invaded not just sports coverage, regular news coverage, casual conversations with your grandma, and the thoughts and actions of civic leaders across the country — it has officially invaded the sanctified walls of churches in South Carolina. There is apparently no end or limit to the Jamesian hysteria.

Here’s video of Reverend Christopher Benek giving a 19-minute sermon intertwining the Chosen One (Jesus) with the Other Chosen One (LeBron). Benek, who’s a pastor at Providence Presbyterian Church in Hilton Head, SC, wants LeBron to play for $1 next year. The second part of the video is embedded below.
