Update II: A couple of clarifying details this week: First, Walter L. Jackson, 63, was the suspect arrested in the attack. Second, he was in fact charged with rape, four counts to be exact, in addition to two counts of kidnapping and two counts of felonious assault.
He pleaded not guilty.
According to the PD, prosecutors say Jackson picked up the 18-year-old around W. 58th and Madison and offered her a ride. Once in the car, they say Jackson handcuffed, bound, and raped her. She managed to open a door and fall out of the van, still naked and bound, which is when a Good Samaritan alertly followed Jackson and provided cops with his location.

Update: The PD also reports that the suspect was arrested and charged with felonious assault and kidnapping. No mention of rape or sexual assault, yet.
