Update: IV: The Sandusky Register, via an affidavit filed in the murder case against Zachary Brody, has some more details about what might have happened. A man named Clifton Knote who was friends with Brody told police that Masterson and another man allegedly showed up at their cabin around 4 or 5 a.m. on Monday beating on the doors and windows. Brody, who other witnesses say was seen fighting and arguing with Masterson earlier in the evening, went outside.

YOU ARE A REAL PUKE BMA I know this family for over 40 years. They are deeply religious’ attend church together every Sunday. Recently returned from Elsalvador on a voluntary mission to help less fortnate.
First off Don, what does you knowing someone’s family have anything to do with what happened here? And they are “deeply religious” huh? Well, then it makes sense that they would turn to violence. Mr. Brody seems like an very upstanding son of the lord, continuosly punching an unconscious human until he dies. Class act in my book.
You may think I’m “puke”, but ask all the unfortunate that I help out how they feel about me. More so, I don’t do it to appease a higher power. You don’t have to be religious to be a good person, and the opposite holds true (e.g. Mr. Brody here).
I don’t believe a word of what Brody’s friends (Knote) have said! I’ve heard Brody met with his friends and they all figured out what they would say to authorities if they came knocking. I don’t think Masterson sought Brody out. I think it was the other way around. I now I wasn’t there, but I’ve been following this case closely, and I would be very surprised if I’m wrong. I think either Brody hit Masterson from behind or in some way that Masterson didn’t see it coning, or Brody and his friends beat Masterson to death, because Brody doesn’t have a scratch or even one little bruise on him in his mug shot or the video of him in police custody. I can guarantee you that the final fight between these two young men was NOT a fair one!
BMA,
Don was speaking of the Masterson family I’m fairly certain.
Tragic story. This article mentions a person named Parris but gives no further information. Bad journalism. If you’re not going to clarify details, leave them out. May truth prevail.
I was speaking about the Masterson family
Well regardless of what happens next because two lives and families are forever effed because of alcohol and bad judgement…
Feel bad for all involved…
It’s sad how you can tear so many people’s lives apart in a matter of hours, sometimes even faster than that. Life is very fragile, never take what you have for granted.
