Think you can trust your doctor? Think again. MetroHealth Medical Center’s director of inpatient services, Joseph Todd Joyner, is the latest winner of Scene’s creep award. He pleaded not guilty today to three counts of kidnapping and three of gross sexual imposition involving an August incident with an 11- to 12-year-old girl.
NewsNet 5 reports that the Cuyahoga County indictment alleges that Joyner removed the girl “from the place where she was found or restrained her liberty for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity,” and that he touched her breasts.
Joyner, also an assistant professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, posted a $100,000 bond and is roaming around town, although he has to surrender his passport by tomorrow so he can’t leave town. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for next week and Joyner has been ordered not to have any contact with the young victim.

Yeah the handlebar mustache doesn’t help…
Don’t you think you should wait till you know whether he’s actually guilty before you give him your “creep award”?
thats cleveland !!
Robert does have a point Maude. He did plead not guilty which would indicate that there is much investigation which needs to be done before any one in any media decides he is guilty. There have been tons and tons of people sent to prison for rape that never raped anyone in their life. I know we live in a society of Jerry Sandusky’s and Anthony Sowell’s and Preists with abuse records, but we really must at least understand that most men are not like this.
He has not been convicted of anything. A persons looks is not indicitive of a persons guilt.
Not suprised! Have worked with this doctor for years and He’s classless and a disgusting man and has finally been caught. Even if he is not found guilty – if you’re a woman -I’d highly recommend finding another primary care physician! There’s no smoke without fire.
