It’s a happy occasion when a Clevelander has a chance to visit the ATM. That means there’s money to be taken out, a rare and wondrous moment indeed.

Now, it’s common sense to go to the ATM of whatever bank you belong to, but sometimes that’s not possible. You need that pack of smokes and you’re on W. 6th. You’re at the strip club and you want just one more dance from Candy. Whatever the case, sometimes you head to the nearest ATM and pony up the fee for convenient cash.

They suck, sure, but in Cleveland, those fees suck less than in the rest of the country.

  1. I know when I shop at Chuppa’s Market Place in Parma, their ATM fees are $ .99 cents. !!! That’s nice !!!

  3. Don’t forget that thanks to National City, now PNC, some people get their ATM fees reimbursed at the end of the month.

    I have not paid an ATM fee in over 2 years, even when using another banks ATM. Does it really matter how much the ATM fee is, when you get a check back for the full amount of the fees?
