Yahoo delivered some sweet vindication for Cleveland this morning when they included our fine home in a list of the top ten most visionary cities in the world. The world! Finally, someone sees that we’re a forward-thinking, innovative city, not one stuck in the closed-steel-mill morass of yesteryear.

Cleveland, No. 4 on the rankings, takes its place with Seoul, Paris, and a bunch of other cities that are jealous they’re not Cleveland.

Specifically, the Forest City was singled out for its local food movement and urban farming.

  1. Vince, I would first like to say THANK YOU for bringing the article to the attention of your readers…Please somehow retract the mention about Forest City… as The Galleria is NOT a Forest City property..it is owned and Managed by Minshall Development Company. We are using the natural light of our fabulous glass atrium ceiling to grow food hydroponically. We currently have Arcadia Glass House set up with BioDynamicz hydroponics, and we teach sustainability. Stop by sometime and I’ll give you a tour…but make sure you come to the GALLERIA!
