Hey you cash strapped travelers thinking about taking a red eye Mega Bus for a weekend beach getaway, we’ve got news for you: Frontier Airlines today announced that the company is adding six new nonstop destinations from Cleveland including Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Phoenix, Raleigh-Durham, and Tampa beginning June 13.

Frontier is offering some pretty kick ass introductory fares (tickets must be purchased by March 15 and flights must be used between mid June and August 10) like these:

$39* each way to Raleigh-Durham
$59* each way to Atlanta
$69* each way to Tampa
$79* each way to Fort Lauderdale
$79* each way to Fort Myers
$99* each way to Phoenix

Those annoying little asterisks hint at additional taxes and fees, but still, the prices are drastically more affordable than those of former Cleveland Hopkins giant United.

  2. WHY are there never any direct flights from Cleveland to San Francisco or San Jose, California? My trips would be 3-6 hours shorter if there were any.

  4. Frontier isn’t too bad with their supplemental charges. You’re probably thinking of Spirit Airlines.

    And you won’t get a direct flight to the west coast because there’s not enough demand for one out of Cleveland.

  5. From Cleveland there is currently one daily direct to SFO, 2 daily directs to LAX, and a seasonal to PDX, SEA, and SAN. Not to mention multiple to Denver and Las Vegas. None of these are going away with United pulling the hub status. These flights all leave full every single day. Plenty of demand.
