TMZ has photos from DEVO co-founders Jerry Casale’s NYC wedding, which took place on Sept. 11. It’s about to become readily apparent why everyone is talking about the affair. Here is one of the photos:

Yes, that is a cake of the Twin Towers with their faces on top. And yes, those are box cutters, which were given out as wedding favors.

Say what you will about DEVO’s sense of humor through the years, holy fuck is there no excuse or defense for this.

  2. I call bullshit on the explanation and he’s an asshole for letting this happen and posing with it. I hope the cheap laughs you got from your little wedding cake is worth all the heat you’re going to get from this.
