Thrifty local shoppers jonesin’ for solid summer bargains are in luck: The fifth annual CityWide Street Sale is taking over Lakewood this weekend, and nearly 200 vendors are participating.

Expect dozens of Detroit Avenue shops spilling out onto the sidewalks, offering up steals on everything from seasonal wines, to summer scents, and name-brand accessories, while local homeowners set up garage sales with all sorts of tantalizing trinkets.

If you’ve never been, it’s quite a sight to behold, and there’s always some amusing bargain banter going on. Go see for yourself. And bring cash.

The sale runs through Saturday, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. (ish). Find a complete list of participating vendors, and their locations here.
