Nitty Gritty parties return to the scene beginning Saturday at the B-Side Liquor Lounge. The long-running club night will host New York City’s DJ Scribe, an Oberlin alumnus who cut his teeth opening for funk-sourced hip-hop giants like A Tribe Called Quest and Digable Planets. Years later, he’s developed an evolved brand of groove that rolls from eclectic soul to dance-floor killers.
