Much like the NPR podcast Serial, the Netflix series Making A Murderer, a ten-part documentary about Steven Avery, a man who served 18 years in prison for sexual assault and attempted murder, caught the public’s attention.

Now, Dean Strang and Jerry Buting, Avery’s defense attorneys, have announced their North American dates for “A Conversation on Justice” tour. It comes to Playhouse Square’s State Theatre at 8 p.m. on June 10. The two attorneys will discuss the Avery case and its broader implications; they’ll also address the larger topic of the American criminal justice system. Each night will feature a Q&A as well.

Tickets for the event go on sale at noon on Friday at Playhouse Square’s Ticket Office; playhousesquare.org and 216-241-6000. (Prices are $39.50 and $49.50. VIP Tickets that include seats in the first 10 rows, a meet-and-greet photo opportunity with Strang and Buting, and a signed program cost $95).
