The wine and gold are honoring the 1976 Miracle at Richfield tonight. If you’re going, expect some nice videos and tributes and a t-shirt. If you’re not attending — well, even if you are — take a few minutes and relive the last seconds of the game seven win against the Bullets and the absolute frenzied madness that ensues after the final second ticked off the clock.

  1. A great memory of a big moment in the history of the Cavaliers franchise. The Richfield Coliseum always was filled with magic.

  2. To think that over the next several years, the fast-talking Nick Mileti began to sell off his local media-sports empire….dealing the Cavs to Louis Mitchell, who quickly flipped the team to Mileti’s cousin Joe Zingale, who – within a couple weeks – cut a deal with Ted Stepien. And – soon after Mileti sold his interest in the Richfield Coliseum – the property ended up in Chase Manhattan Bank’s portfolio due to foreclosure proceedings.
