The Cuyahoga National Valley Park is going to be officially back up and running by Wednesday, with much of it open by tomorrow, park officials have announced.
During the nearly 40-day partial government shutdown, where Democrats and Republicans fought over funding of a Mexican/American border-wall, Ohio’s only national park locked its bathrooms and left much of its parking lots unplowed. Trails remained open during that time, but it was up to a host of volunteers to maintain the park’s cleanliness.
The Boston Store Visitor Center is expected to be open by 9:30 a.m. tomorrow morning.
Meanwhile, note that a Brandywine Falls safety alert is currently in place and sections of the towpath are currently closed off to the public. Find out more about the park right here.
