National Geographic Live boasts a broad roster of renowned photographers, scientists, authors, filmmaker and adventurers. Its critically acclaimed programs have existed for more than a century and the programs are currently presented in more than 60 cities in North America.

The new 2019-2020 series adds Cleveland to the list.

“We are thrilled to be bringing some of National Geographic’s most dynamic and entertaining explorers to Playhouse Square. National Geographic Live events are a unique opportunity for people in Cleveland to meet these visionary individuals in person and to be inspired by the fascinating stories and breathtaking images they will share from their expeditions to the far corners of our planet,” says Yulia Petrossian Boyle, Senior Vice President, International Media and Experiences, NG Partners, in a press release.

The 2019-2020 program coming to Playhouse Square includes Point of No Return with mountaineer Hilaree Nelson (Nov. 6), Coral Kingdoms and Empires of Ice with underwater photographer David Doubilet and with aquatic biologist and photojournalist Jennifer Hayes (Feb. 26, 2020) and Nature Roars Back with wildlife filmmaker Bob Poole (April 22, 2020).

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 21.
