After Donald Trump declared Haiti and Africa “shitholes” yesterday a parade of GOPers around the country were trotted in front of cameras and microphones to either condemn the horrendous, racist statement or, for the MAGA-aligned sect, attempt to defend it.
Here in the Buckeye State, former Ohio governor candidate and new U.S. Senate candidate Jim Renacci seems to think Trump’s description was just fine. Like others who hypothesized that the comment would actually resonate positively with the portions of Trump’s base who hold similar horrendous, racist views, Renacci, in an appearance on Fox News, said Trump just says what people are thinking.
“I’ve said all along the president many times says what people are thinking,” he said in the interview, which also covered his entrance into the race against Sherrod Brown, at the request of Trump.

I, too, say what people are thinking.
Its ok to speak the truth about countries and people. Pretend they are decent places and theyll never improve. The criticism will motivate them to consider their condition and hopefully theyll see they need to change. Its sad to say but many places are shitholes and telling it like it is is the way to go. False outrage gets you nothing.
Kansas, Alabama, Michigan… look every country has its “sh*tholes”.
Let’s focus on the real issue, he wants people from Norway to come to the US.
The same Norway with wonderful socialized medicine, common sense gun laws and robust social safety programs. They are always in the top 5 happiest countries in the world.
Those are all things that republicans hate!
If they move here then those ideas could gain a following here in the US!

It’s better to keep all the money in the hands of the elite few. It’s better to allow our fellow citizens to bankrupt themselves over medical bills. It’s better to hand our government over to conservative racists like Jim Renacci.

As long as Dolt 45 remains in office, America is going to continue to be viewed as a “shithole country” by much of the rest of the world. And by more and more of its own citizens.

He tried prime time talking to Velshi and Ruhle business program on MSNBC. He got his ass handed to him. He went back and had the same result. Velshi and Ruhle do their homework Big Jim did not.
Some people think Cleveland is a bit of a shithole because of the murders and chemtrails but America is actually really nice compared to many other places. That’s probably why other people from less developed countries want to move and resettle here.

I am ashamed to say that he is my congressman. He does not listen to his constituents and does not care how Trump’s proposals may effect them . He strictly votes the party line and has no backbone to do otherwise.

Just be honest with yourselves. How many people have you talked to in the past 30 years that have vacationed in Dominican Republic, or Bahamas, Puerto Rico, or Jamaica? You have probably been to one of those places yourself. Every single person that has ever vacation there, will tell you that the resort was beautiful, but everything they saw from their shuttle between the airport and the resort was a “shithole”.
I have heard that description used about 1,000 times over the years. Lost in this entire false outrage over Trump’s comments, is the fact that racism has nothing to do with it! Point in fact, Parma is our shithole, and it is all white!
So because some guy like Renacci can crawl out of his trailer and say he believes the same thing it’s ok for the President of the United States to say it? Should we not perhaps hold the leader of the free world to a higher standard? Should we forget that most of us came here from what were considered s**thole countries in the past – Ireland, Poland, Italy, etc.? The comment was inexcusable and the Republicans who can’t run to his defense fast enough are contemptible human beings.
Renacci is probably assured of an administration job in case things don’t work out at the ballot box.
Just kidding. Multiple officials have said that trump did not say these words. Everyone else however has been using the word “shithole” and much more inflammatory ridiculous accusations based on these false claims.

Maybe ask Renacci why everyday a network of tanker Jets launch from the Wright Patterson military airbase and fly all over greater Cleveland spraying an undisclosed substance from special ports under the wings. There white trails dissipate into artificial clouds. These chemspray planes do not come up on any flight tracker even at times when there are over 10 operating at once. You can tell they are not passenger planes because of their unusual angles and near passes. When questioned about these rogue planes, the local FAA inspectors called the police.
