Right across the street from Progressive Field on East 9th, Brickstone is a cool place to catch the game while munching on some brick oven pizza.

Update: Brickstone has reopened for baseball season. You might have noticed that the joint, located directly across from Progressive Field, had a For Lease sign in the window after the conclusion of last year’s disappointing playoff run, but with the debut of spring, or what passes for spring in Cleveland, Brickstone is now dishing up beer, wood-fired pizza and burgers on game days. It’s also available for private events.

(Original story 11/7/2017): Brickstone, located on East Ninth Street at Bolivar Road by Progressive Field, has closed. The casual eatery and bar opened at the start of the 2013 Indians season in a revolving-door location that has been home to Cooper’stown, Local Heroes and GoodFellers.

Although attempts to contact management have been unsuccessful, the website is down, the phone number is disconnected, and there’s a “For Lease” sign on the building.
