It feels really dumb to even bother sharing stories like this, given the disastrous week we’re working through, but here we go: The Maple Heights superintendent pantsed the school board vice president at a football game the other night. He’s been suspended for 10 days without pay.

“I immediately apologized; I think initially we were both in shock. He was offended and rightfully so, so in the end there’s a consequence which I fully accept for what happened,” superintendent Charles Keenan told Fox 8, which used the verb “depants.”

School board president Pamela Crews drew a stark line in the sand: “It was really such a situation that went awry. We just want to get back to the kids; that is our focus, so we just want to get past all of this and move forward.”
