Brian Hoyer.
Brian Hartline.
Anderson Varejao.
And now Hue Jackson.
The Mr. Hero curse is real, my friends. And it’s undefeated.
With today’s (long overdue) dismissal of Hue Jackson, we must reckon with the mystical powers of the Romanburger franchise, which has laid waste to the promising careers of noted Cleveland athletes and coaches with the reckless abandon of a hungover Browns fan devouring a two-patty sub.
“As head coach, my job is to teach what’s up here and in here is life shaping,” Jackson said in one commercial spot. How right he was. The moment he picked up that chicken BLT, his fate was sealed.
Armed with what is now incontrovertible evidence, there is no recourse other than to shield, by force if necessary, Baker Mayfield, Francisco Lindor, Terry Francona and anyone else remotely favored, treasured or primed to help Cleveland teams win from any and all inquiries from the beloved but problematic restaurant.
It’s up to us. We can’t fail.

Hahahaha I love it. 3-36-1 and never won a road game. Worst franchise in NFL history….keep buying tickets and merchandise suckers
Timothy Mozgov! How about the “Maserati” himself?
What a difference a month makes. From hope that the endless nightmare might be over…to SSDY.
No light at the end of the tunnel…just more tunnel. Cleveland’s best Sundays were in 96-97-98.
