Jack Frost Donuts, which has been making Cleveland’s favorite donuts since 1937, is expanding. The beloved brand is moving into a space at Olde Avon Village (36840 Detroit Rd.) right next door to Strip Steakhouse.

The family-owned and operated donut shop makes every batch from scratch at the flagship in Cleveland’s Old Brooklyn neighborhood (4960 Pearl Rd., 216-351-3638). When the new location opens early next year, it will receive a shipment of fresh-made donuts every single morning.

Jack Frost relies on a proprietary family recipe when crafting roughly two dozen different daily varieties. Staples like sour cream glazed, maple iced, cinnamon sugar and raspberry-filled long johns join seasonal specials Pączki, Key Lime Pie donuts, pumpkin spice with cinnamon sugar and more.

When it does open, the newest shop will offer indoor (and, likely, outdoor) seating.
