Cleveland Metroparks Summer Concert Series

Euclid State Beach plays host to this summer concert series put on by Cleveland Metroparks. The event featuring local music runs from 5 to 8 p.m. and features everything from funk to gospel and jazz. Food trucks will be on hand for the event, and there will be a beer garden as well.

The Great Gatsby

The Tony Award-winning musical based on the classic F. Scott Fitgerald book set in the Roaring Twenties comes to Connor Palace. Tonight’s performance takes place at 7:30, and the play runs through June 28.

Larkin Poe

The rock duo performs at 7:30 p.m. at Cain Park in Cleveland Heights. The Record Company opens the show. It begins at 7:30 p.m.

Post Malone

Post Malone’s stadium tour with Jelly Roll comes to Huntington Bank Field. An eclectic singer-songwriter, Post Malone recently embraced country music with singles “Guy for That” featuring Luke Combs, “Pour Me A Drink” featuring Blake Shelton and “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Tri-C Jazzfest

Tri-C’s annual three-day JazzFest kicks off today at 8 p.m. at the State Theatre with a performance by Sheila E. The percussionist started her career back in the 1970s and famously played with Prince during the 1980s. She’s also known for her philanthropy and activism.

Todd Barry

Thanks to appearances in cult classics such as Flight of the Conchords and The Wrestler, comedian Todd Barry has a small but loyal fanbase that appreciates his dry sense of humor. Tonight, he returns to the Winchester in Lakewood, where he performs at 8.

Capone

Comedian Derrick “Capone” Lee served nine months in jail in the early ’90s, He successfully left that life behind, however, when he turned to comedy and has shared the stage with big-name comics such as Mike Epps and Tracey Morgan. He performs tonight at 7 and 9:30 and tomorrow night at 6:30 and 9 at the Funny Bone.

Considering Matthew Shepard

After a week-long intensive for singers, conductors, and collaborative pianists, the Cleveland Orchestra Summer Choral Institute presents this concert that features passages from the late Matthew Shepard’s personal journals. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. at Mandel Concert Hall.

Jared Freid

As the title of his standup special, 37 & Single, implies, comedian Jared Freid likes to tell jokes about dating. He performs tonight and tomorrow night at 7 and 9:45 at Hilarities.

Guardians vs. Seattle Mariners

The Guardians took a series from the Seattle Mariners at the start of the season. The Mariners will undoubtedly hope to do the same when they come to Progressive Field to play the Guardians in a three-game series. First pitch is at 7:10 p.m.

Insane Clown Posse

The shock rockers out of Detroit return to the Agora. Known for spraying their audience with Faygo, these masked marvels put on theatrical shows that attract rabid fans. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Ratboys

Singin’ to an Empty Chair, this Chicago band’s sixth studio album, mixes soft vocals with slanted guitars, making the group sound like Pavement if the Waxahatchee’s Kathryn Crutchfield fronted the group. Tonight’s show at the Grog Shop in Cleveland Heights starts at 8 p.m.

Speech & Debate

Case Western Reserve University’s Don Carrier directs this play about high school students who aim to expose a corrupt drama teacher. Tonight’s performance takes place at 7:30 at Beck Center for the Arts, where performances continue through June 28.

Teiku

Chicago pianist Josh Harlow and Detroit percussionist Jonathan Barahal lead this group that’s on on tour to celebrate the release of their new LP Klang. The Big Show

More than 100 musicians will play at this concert that features newly formed local bands created as part of the biennial Lottery League. The event begins at 11 a.m. at Ingenuity Cleveland. It’ll last the entire day as each band plays a 10-minute set of original material. Admission is free.

CLE Records Multi-Band Release Party

Locals Doug McKean, Kiss Me Deadly, Moon Echo Garden and Duo Decibel System play this special showcase at Brothers Lounge put on by CLE Records, the label run by longtime local music supporter Jim Ellis. The show begins at 7 p.m.

Cleveland Railroad Festival

The American Freedom Train No. 250, a recently restored 81-year-old patriotic steam locomotive, will be on hand for this event that takes place at the the Midwest Railway Preservation Society. Guests can even climb aboard the locomotive’s cab and blow the whistle. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Early Start: Sunset Fest By the Lake

Tonight at 7 at North Coast Yard, the Early Start, a local promotion company, hosts a special Sunrise Fest featuring music, games and food. Tickets cost $10.

Peninsula Flea

This upscale flea market features handmade, repurposed and vintage items from dedicated artists, crafts people and collectors. Local musicians are slated to perform, and food vendors will be on hand. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Heritage Farms. Admission is free.

Paula Poundstone

The veteran comedian who hosts a weekly comedy podcast, Nobody Listens to Paula Poundstone, and is a regular panelist on NPR’s Wait, Wait… Don’t Tell Me performs tonight at 7:25 at the Kent Stage.

Rock Hall Live: Spoon and the Beths

The two indie acts come to the Rock Hall. The show begins at 7 p.m., and Squirrel Flower shares the bill. According to the Rock Hall website, the show is sold out.

Summerfest 2026

The Luckey Ones, Larry Haws and the Octopus and Robbing Mary perform at this annual outdoor concert at RM Pavilion in Hinckley. Each group will play a set and then the show will close with a jam featuring members from all the groups. Admission is free, and the music starts at 4:30 p.m.

Alex Warren

Two years ago, this singer-songwriter had a bit hit with “Burning Down,” a song he even re-recorded with pop star Joe Jonas. He followed it up with the somber pop tune “Ordinary,” and he now brings his massive Finding Family on the Road tour to Rocket Arena. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

The Guess Who: Takin’ It Back Tour 2026

Founders Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman have taken their classic roc group the Guess Who back on the road after 23 years. The classic rock group performs at 7:30 p.m. at Blossom. Don Felder (formerly of the Eagles) will open.

Jokes on You

Inspired by crowd work clinicians like Dave Attell, Ian Bagg, and Big Jay Oakerson, Jokes On You makes the audience the center of the show by “pushing comics to avoid prepared material or written jokes and instead focus on organic interaction with the audience,” as it’s put in a press release about this event, which takes place tonight at 8 in the Frolic Cabaret Room at Hilarities.

Reggae Sundays
