After three years in business, Corbo’s Pasta and Pizza House (12210 Mayfield Rd.) in Little Italy has closed. The shop opened in a space adjacent to the bakery and offered salads, sandwiches, pastas and more. The ready-to-eat food shop served as a welcome complement to the bakery next door, which is home to those world-famous treats like cannoli, tiramisu, cassata cakes, sfogiatelle and more.

A Corbo’s Pasta And Pizza House location in Mayfield Heights closed a few years ago, leaving Corbo’s Bakery at Playhouse Square (1603 Euclid Ave.) to fill the gap for savory Italian foods like hot and cold sandwiches and pastas, but also pastries, breakfast sandwiches and cakes.

Attempts to reach management for comment were unsuccessful.
