The careening Kings of Leon-like single “Wrong Things” possesses a quiet intensity thanks to gruff vocals and cascading guitars. Tan Dun Conducts Tan Dun

Cavs vs. Orlando Magic
The pesky Orlando Magic gave our Cavs a hard time in the opening round of last year’s playoffs, taking the Cavs to a seventh game. GlamGore: The Villain Eras Tour

Green Day Fan Day
The Rock Hall will honor the 30th anniversary of the punk band’s 1994 breakout album, Dookie, as well as the 20th anniversary of 2004’s American Idiot. There will be band artifact spotlights, photo-ops, exclusive giveaways, and more! The group’s 1968 Mercury Monterey convertible featured in the “Holiday”/“Boulevard of Broken Dreams” music video will be displayed outside the museum.

GWAR
The shock rock act performs tonight at 7 at the Agora. In the Heartland — The Music of MSB
Former members of the band that backed the late MIchael Stanley bring this tribute to the Kent Stage tonight at 6:30. MSB guitarist Danny Powers will take over on vocals as the group revisits the heartland rocker’s hits. Songs such as “My Town” capture the blue-collar Cleveland ethos and turned Stanley into a regional superstar.

David Cross
The comedian brings his the End of the Beginning of the End tour to the Kent Stage tonight at 6:30. Cross, who famously starred in the cult HBO comedy Mr. Show with Bob and David, has been doing standup for decades now and was one of the first comedians to take his show to indie rock clubs.

Dia de Muertos 2024
Though it might not sound like it, the Detroit Shoreway’s Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration is a family-friendly affair. Kids love to join the Parade of Skeletons that features life-sized puppets and plenty of people in costume. Vendors will set up inside Cleveland Public Theatre’s Parish Hall, and Gordon Square Arts District bars and restaurants will have specials. The event kicks off at 11 a.m., and the spectacular Skulls & Skeletons parade starts at 3:30 p.m.

Home Movie Day
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and its Library & Archives host Home Movie Day at today at the Rock Hall. The event will feature a compilation film of rock performance footage assembled from local home video and film donations, and clips will include never-before-seen footage of Northeast Ohio acts. Some of the film and video donors will be on hand to share their stories about the performances featured.

Sam Hooper Group
The local blues band that’s opened for the likes of Shemekia Copeland, Coco Montoya, Ronnie Earl, Curtis Salgado, Samantha Fish, Matthew Curry, Luther “Guitar Jr.” Johnson, John Nemeth and Matt Schofield performs at 8 tonight at the Bop Stop. The show serves as a birthday bash for Hooper, who’ll also present a tribute to Dickey Betts. British singer Madi C will join the band as a special guest as well.

The local hard rock act brings a national tour to a close with this show at the Beachland Ballroom. The Rocky Horror Picture Show
The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the 1975 film that still draws an exuberant, costumed crowd that likes to throw rice and dry toast and sing along to the songs in the movie, still draws big crowds to local showings. Expect a throng to show up for tonight’s screening that takes place at 9:30 p.m. at the Cedar Lee Theatre in Cleveland Heights. Tickets cost $12.

Browns vs. Los Angeles Chargers

Jo Koy
Comedian Jo Koy defies Asian stereotypes. He isn’t good at math, and he’s a decent driver. But all that doesn’t stop him from talking in outrageous Asian accents and exploiting the natural comedy that ensued from his Asian-American upbringing. Ever since performing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Koy has continued to gain momentum with two HBO specials. He also landed in Variety Magazine’s “top 10 comics to watch” list. He performs tonight at 7:30 at Connor Palace.
