Eddie Brill is a busy, busy man. In addition to his stand-up gig, the N.Y.C. comedian warms up David Letterman’s TV audience, books comics for Letterman’s show, and is a “humor consultant” for Reader’s Digest. Plus, he teaches stand-up comedy workshops around the country and regularly tours overseas, where he’s noticed a few things. “We’ve changed the names of other people’s countries for no reason,” he quips. “We call España Spain. Who went over there and said, ‘That’s a horrible name! That doesn’t rhyme with anything. How are you going to have a song for your country? All you’ve got is ‘I’m Tanya from España.’”
