The Morgan Conservatory‘s 13th Annual Juried Exhibition, Interwoven Aspects: Innovation and Tradition in Paper Art, has just opened. For it, artists were encouraged to respond to “the ever-changing landscape the upcoming quarter century brings; whether that is the rise of AI and other technologies, the idea of intersectionality, or the transformative nature of paper as a medium and substrate.”

Ashley Pastore, a Pennsylvania fiber artist and educator, and Kelly Taylor Mitchell , an Atlanta fiber artist and educator, juried this year’s exhibit. They narrowed down 280 national submissions to 54 works that demonstrate “the versatility of paper as a medium.” Out of the 35 artists in this exhibition, four come from Ohio.

There will be a public reception from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 28. Guests can vote on their favorite piece to select the Viewer’s Choice Award. The exhibition is on until April 29.
