Zygote Press is an established, nonprofit community printmaking studio, gallery, archive, and education center.
After a lengthy search, Zygote finally found a new home on Perkins Avenue. They held an open house to show the space to the public for the first time and also to highlight the work of their 2026 fellows.
Here’s what we saw at “Proof of Concept.”
Emanuel Wallace is a photographer and journalist from Cleveland, Ohio. He has been the staff photographer for Cleveland Scene magazine since 2014. In the past, he has contributed to Cleveland.com, Destination Cleveland and the Call & Post, among other outlets. In his spare time, Emanuel likes to experiment with crafting various cocktails and brewing his own beer.
