Coffee shops are everywhere in Cleveland nowadays, which is not surprising because, we admit it … coffee is amazing. However, we think it’s time to give tea — the underrepresented beverage in America — the spotlight.  These 20 local spots serve such a diversity of flavors and varieties that you might actually consider switching your daily drink of choice from coffee to tea.

The Root Cafe 15118 Detroit Ave., Lakewood This mostly vegan cafe is a jack-of-all-trades establishment. They showcase local artists on the wall, they have poetry readings and folk musicians performing, have one of the best vegan menus in town, serve great coffee and have delicious baked goods.
