Welcome to the second annual Comics Issue, dear reader. We hope you’re as excited as we are.

Early last year we corralled a handful of local comic artists to tell the story of Cleveland’s past, present and future as only they could. It was both a chance to showcase their work to Northeast Ohio and an opportunity to pay tribute to the city’s strong comic heritage, from Superman to Harvey Pekar and beyond.

It went so well we’re doing it again, except expanded for your enjoyment. Seven artists took up the call to tell their stories on the panels this year and we couldn’t be more impressed with how the comics turned out.

To fully view each comic, simply click on each strip once to select and once more to enlarge.

Enjoy.
