Seabury Avenue Light Display (Fairview Park) - The whole of Seabury Avenue is lined with glittering Christmas lights on both sides. Many houses on the street have beautiful displays, making it a great drive-through light display. (Courtesy Facebook)

Lizanich Family Christmas Lights (Strongsville) - The Lizanich family have been doing Christmas lights for years, and every year it just gets better. The light display is synchronized to 93.3FM, which plays modern Christmas favorites, as well as the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Nightly from Thanksgiving to New Year. Located: 11838 N Churchill Way? Nela Park Lighting Display

If you're in the mood to see a really extraordinary holiday lighting display, GE's Nela Park has got you covered. The whole shebang, including a drive through the campus this year, starts Dec. 1 and it'll stay lit until the new year. This isn't an "event," per se, but it is an experience, and it's always nice to remember the historical legacy of East Cleveland's biggest employer. Crown Point Parkway Festival of Lights (Strongsville) - There's over 32,000 lights, a moving train and merry-go-round. It runs from Thanksgiving night to January 1st, and hot chocolate and cookies will be served for a very low price. (Courtesy Facebook)

City of Independence Light Display (Independence) - Be there for the annual tree lighting festival on Dec. 2. There will be caroling and Christmas cheer as Santa arrives just in time to help light the tree in the Town Square. Ashtabula County Lights on the Lake (Ashtabula) - Open through the New Year, it's the biggest lighting display on Lake Erie.
