Lizanich Family Christmas Lights (Strongsville) - The Lizanich family have been doing Christmas lights for years, and every year it just gets better. Nela Park Lighting Display

If you're in the mood to see a really extraordinary holiday lighting display, GE's Nela Park has got you covered. The whole shebang, including a drive through the campus this year, starts Dec. 1 and it'll stay lit until the new year. This isn't an "event," per se, but it is an experience, and it's always nice to remember the historical legacy of East Cleveland's biggest employer. City of Independence Light Display (Independence) - Be there for the annual tree lighting festival on Dec. 2. There will be caroling and Christmas cheer as Santa arrives just in time to help light the tree in the Town Square.
