The RTA’s Holiday Car always gets us in the mood for the holiday season. You can plan your trip here, or visit the car at one of the stops it’ll be making around town, like the La Gran Parranada (4346 Ridge Rd., Brookyln, 12/16 6-9 p.m.) or Season’s Greetings from Shaker Square (13224 Shaker Blvd., 12/17, 2-6 p.m.).

Nela Park

If you're in the mood to see a really extraordinary holiday lighting display, General Electric’s Nela Park has got you covered. For the 94th year, you can visit the most well-known light display in Cleveland, which begins on November 30th and goes until January 2nd.

Strongsville Winter Wonderland

Strongsville really is the place to be when it comes to photographing Christmas lights! The city puts on this display, with the Crystal Palace gazebo and the clocktower lit up, in addition to a giant Christmas tree.

Frost at the Cleveland Botanical Garden

The Cleveland Botanical Garden’s annual Glow winter experience changed this year to a new exhibit called ‘Frost’. With gorgeous botanical displays, awesome themed rooms and holiday lights and immersive experiences including creating a frosty masterpiece, walking through a tunnel of mirrors, playing the icicle xylophone and roasting marshmallows, this is the perfect spot for those magical holiday moments and photos. Open daily through December 31st (10 a.m.-4 p.m.). (closed 12/11 and 12/25). Open nightly Thursday through Saturday through December (4-8 p.m)

Castle Noel is an indoor, year-round Christmas experience, but there’s no better time to visit than around the holidays. If you’re looking for everything Christmas in one place, like props from Christmas films, display windows from department stores, a Blizzard Vortex, Santa’s Chimney Squeeze, indoor snow, a 25 inch animated Christmas tree and much more, this is your place.

Seabury Avenue

The whole of Seabury Avenue is lined with glittering Christmas lights on both sides. Many houses on the street have beautiful displays, making it a great drive-through light display. Check it out at night until Christmas is over.
