Excelsior Brewing Company was located at West 32nd and Sackett Avenue and was one of the smallest breweries in Cleveland history. The Brewery is most famous for its labels Excelsior Success and Golden Seal Beers.

The Diebolt Brewing Company was located on Pittsburgh Avenue. at the corner of Jackson (East 27th) Street. Despite closing in the late 1920s, the 3-story red-brick stables that once housed the brewery's beerwagon horses remained standing until the 1980s.
