SPARX City Hop

SPARX City Hop is back this year from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today. To begin, stop by the Main Hub, located under the GE Chandelier in front of Playhouse Square to grab a free wristband, which is required to ride the trolleys. Visitors can also explore Playhouse Square’s historic theaters through free, behind-the-scenes, guided tours. Guests ride free, guided trolley tours to neighborhoods and districts including Ohio City, Tremont, the Gateway District, Playhouse Square, Campus District, Hingetown, Superior Arts District and Asia Town. You’ll have an opportunity to explore each neighborhood’s galleries, nonprofits, restaurants, bars, small businesses and more. SPARX also includes 30 performances of live music and performance art at the main hug and all eight stops. Additionally, the Downtown Cleveland Alliance, with the support of the Union Club, will install a mural by local artist Eric Vaughn. It will be unveiled on the east side of the Residences at 668, located within walking distance of SPARX’s Main Hub. Free. (Usmani)
